A Scalelash is a deadly weapon used by Verminocitors for use in killing Surface creatures that enter into the Ventilation Tunnels. [1]
Description[]
They are made of small metal rings knitted into a tapered tube. Each ring is hung with a pointed, edged metal scale. The weight of one is similar to an ax, and hits with as much force. The scales rip away chunks of a creature's flesh as they tear away. A strike can saw through the toughest hide.[1]

Abou a dozen Verminocitors charged a group of large adult Silkweavers in the Ventilation Tunnels where Francis Grimm and his men were fighting them trying to rescue Bridget Tagwynn and Folly.[1]
